September Bolletino
Branch 380 members finished a multicultural summer with a Mexican taco fiesta feast and traditional dancing by a local Folklorico dance troupe. The dancing featured members of the St. Paschal Baylon parish. Presenting the Branch’s annual donation to Father Dave Heney was a highlight of the general meeting. This year’s donation was 10% higher than last year’s donation.
The September shopping bag food drive, organized by Greg Corricello, was a great success. Over 130 bags of food were donated to the local St Vincent de Paul food shelves.
Branch 380 members are looking forward to running the Italian Food Booth at St. Paschal Baylon’s Fall Festival for October 21st to 23rd. A big thank you to Ed Gervasoni for stepping up to be chairperson of this event. Each year it has been a great success and lots of fun for all involved. Please feel free to stop by if you are in the area. Plans are also being made to attend the Bishop’s Dinner in November. We look forward to reconnecting with other branch members in the Los Angeles district.
Also, congratulation to Pat Mages for being re-elected to Central Council!
Ciao,
Nanette Scarpellini Metz
Branch 380
